Evening Care - Weekdays
Description
For families needing care beyond regular childcare hours, we offer flexible evening care in a familiar and safe setting. This service is ideal for parents with late work shifts, evening commitments, or unexpected schedule changes. Children will enjoy a calm and cozy environment with age-appropriate activities, playtime, and rest as needed.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Age Range: We accept children ages 0 to 10 years old for evening care.
- Enrollment Status: Evening care is available for both currently enrolled families and new families seeking flexible after-hours childcare.
- Advance Notice: We understand that schedules can change unexpectedly. If availability allows, we accept same-day and last-minute requests, as long as our child-to-caregiver ratio remains within state guidelines.
- Pick-up Time & Late Fees:
- Parents must pick up their child at the agreed-upon time.
- A late pick-up fee will be applied if pick-up is 15–20 minutes past the scheduled time, as we must maintain proper supervision and staff schedules.
- Behavior Expectations: To ensure a safe and positive environment for all children, we expect:
- Respectful Behavior: Children should treat staff and peers with kindness.
- No Aggressive Actions: Physical aggression (hitting, biting, excessive tantrums that pose a risk) will result in an immediate call to parents. If a child exhibits repeated unsafe behavior, we may discontinue evening care services without a refund.
- Following Instructions: Age-appropriate cooperation is expected for safety and a smooth evening routine.
- Comfortable Transition: If a child is overly distressed at drop-off and unable to settle, parents may be called for early pickup.
